We want to provide you with a convenient method of communication to stay up-to-date on important information. Check this webpage for all current news on school closings, special rehearsals, and other important parent information. Please be sure to sign up for our email notification program if you wish to be informed via email of important events. You can register on this website or ask your instructor for a card to fill out.

Be sure that you come into the studio when picking up your child from dance class. For security reasons, we need to ensure that each child is released into the custody of a parent, guardian or other authorized person. Your child's instructor will also pass on important information after class and we want to be sure you are there to hear about anything that is going on. Also, be sure to check your child's dance bag EVERY week for important notes. Your child's dance instructor is your connection to all of the happenings at the school!

A variety of classes, class times and locations are available. At Long's School of Dance, we place over 1000 students in classes each year. We prefer to personally place each student according to the his or her needs, at a time and location that fits your schedule. Please give us a call so we can help you find the right solution for you and your dancer.

If you move or your telephone number changes, please update us as soon as possible by email, mail or by letting us know at the main studio location.

Try a gift certificate from us! Dance, Kung Fu, or fencing lessons or a performance supplies store certificate. Certificates are available in any dollar amount. Pick one up today in the performance supplies store at the Selinger Avenue studio.

• Classes will meet for one (1) hour per week. Classes will consist of 1/2 hour of tap and 1/2 hour of ballet and some acrobatics.
• Basic tap steps and rhythm will join body positions and grace from ballet. Motor skills are developed in acrobatics.
• Students will be working in a classroom environment. They will be taking turns and learning how to work with others. For many, this will be the student's first classroom experience.
• Students will be learning in a fun and friendly atmosphere with a caring instructor.
• Parent visitations will be throughout the year. You are welcome to attend.
• Please feel free to speak to your child's instructor before or after class. You may also leave a message at the desk for your child's instructor to give you a call back. Also, the receptionist may answer any questions you might have.
• Please take advantage of our referral program. If a new student enrolls and uses your name in the referral line, you will be eligible for a reward!
• For the honors student: Any additional class your preschooler would like to take will be $35.00 per month.
